Name: Tifa Lockhart

College, Job, or Both: Job: She hasn’t been here long, just enough time to set up her bar, 7th Heaven. Right now, she’s looking for staff, but she will be the head bartender/ manager.

Hobbies/Extracurricular Activities: Going to the gym, working out, making sure she’s still in shape in case something goes wrong at the bar.

Brief History: Tifa was born in Chicago, where she spent most of her time at the gym or dealing with the troubles that come with living in the dark depths of the city. She learned how to defend herself at a very early age and even though she had two loving parents, she was always ready to work and helped out with anything she could. Her mother died when she was only 8 and since then, her father raised her and taught her to be a loving and caring person. Though she's well able to defend herself and those she cares about, she doesn't always like to.

She came here to San Fran in order to open up a bar in a town that might actually like it, and one that was away from the people who killed her dad. She still isn't entirely sure why they did so, as she barely remembers anything from the huge fire in their home and woke up here in San Fran. She thinks an old friend from home brought her here, but she isn't entirely sure.

About a year before "now" there was a gang of people who didn't like the way Tifa was being taught to defend herself and thought they were going to teach her and her father a little "life lesson." They set fire to the Lockhart's house in the middle of the night. Tifa was unable to save her father and barely managed to escape herself, suffering from the heat, smoke inhalation, and burns from the falling beams in the house. She fainted just out of reach of the heat. It is believed that an aunt or uncle brought her to San Fran after the whole ordeal (which, by the way, wasn't covered on the news in great detail because the gang was never caught), but Tifa has almost no memory of the night or the months following it because she suffered trauma to her head escaping the burning building.

She's now looking for the real reasons she ended up here, who set the fire. She does remember feeling the heat and the realization that her father was dead, but for now that's about all. The burns she suffered all over her body also were good reason for her tattoos, hiding the scars she can barely remember receiving.
